Fall things

Thanksgiving is as late as it can possibly be this year, which means Christmas is hot on its heels.  Which means I am having "CHRISTMAS IS COMING" panic.  That's rude to Thanksgiving, to say the least.  Some helpful accoutrements for slowing down and enjoying fall and all that it brings

I don't know how you're really supposed to make hot apple cider, but these mulling spice tea bags certainly seem to help (you can find these at Whole Foods).
Perfectly spare black kitten heel pumps.
The clutch to end all clutches: it's black!  It's brown!  It has stripes!  It can be monogrammed!  It's perfect.
Beautiful agate jewelry boxes for storing all manner of trinkets.
Agate Jewelry Box
A coat for indulging your inner badass (30% off today with code GAPFRIENDS, and it comes in regular, petite, and tall sizes).
Hilarious boxed set of Ruth Bader Ginsburg cards for all your favorite lawyers.

Absurdly cheap graphic sweatshirt (from Old Navy, of all places.  $7, without any of their constant coupons, in regular, petite, and tall!).
And what would fall be without a cozy textured throw blanket?

Welcome to Tuesday.

It's been a while since the last link-stravaganza, so for your reading pleasure, the good, the bad, and as always, the bizarrely interesting.  Happy (?) Tuesday to all, and to all a good cup of hot coffee and a nice place to enjoy it.

What do you think about outsourcing pretty much everything?

Perfect leather-like pants (not to be confused with these leather-like pants).

A sort-of mind-blowing comparison of today's stars with their similarly-aged counterparts of yore.

January Jones was Betty Draper for Halloween.  Really.  Dear JJ: Pretty please do this every year for the rest of time.

Why young adult novels are actually really, really good (hint: good plots sans author pretentiousness).

The Olympics are coming, and the dress code is moose sweaters.

Pirates hate Britney.  That's rude (though admittedly low on the list of their transgressions).

The most adorable thing you will see today is not baby animals, it's these photos of the Beckham family watching Harper play soccer.

Snort.

The Miss Manners of Motown sounds like she was a fabulous lady.
